Sioux Buffalo Honoring Lance
Because the Buffalo was so sacred to Native Americans, and such an important part of the Sioux culture, I honor the Buffalo with this lance....The staff is covered with forest green leather and adorned with approximately 10 inches of hand-beading. Other adornments include oil-tanned leather wraps, eight feather drops with decorated quills, glass and metal trade beads, horse hair, trade cloth, brass hawk bells and buffalo hide. A decorated leather sheath covers the iron spear head. Overall length of the lance is approximately 56 inches. All Lances are custom made and signed by ThreeFeathers.
